These are our dolphins of quarter one. Dolphins of the quarter show K-L-H, Kuleana, Laulima and Hoihi.

and we're doing things a little differently this year we're trying the dolphin of the quarter so we'll be recognizing our dolphins in the first quarter Breyden Tokoro Hanaoka is an awesome student he's respectful help a great listener and liked by his classmates he enjoys playing in the block Center and the Lego Magnet Center Breyden is very creative and builds the most amazing things good job Breyden since the beginning of the school year Sophia Dioquino has shown kuleana, laulima, and hoihi she shows responsibility and doing her class work and homework laulima by helping others whenever they need a hand and she shows respect for adults and her peers. I can always count on Sofia to participate in any group discussion or group reading congrats Sophia for being our first dolphin representative for first quarter. Keep up the good work. Tyanna Harper is a very respectful cooperative and responsible student. Her knowledge of letters and sounds helps her to read and write well she submits our class and homework on time and with quality.  Great role model. keep up the good work Tyanna and have a great first quarter break. Olivia Kaai, has been selected as a dolphin of the quarter because she is responsible for ensuring that she completes her work on time.  She is helpful and works well with others and she is also respectful and kind. She accepts and works hard when she has given suggestions on places to improve. Keep up the great work Olivia! Aalizae Lee Dela Cruz is our dolphin of the quarter because she shows KLH at all times Aali shows kuleana by being ready to work, participating in class and focusing on what she needs to complete. She shows that Laulima by participating in class discussion and asking questions when she does not understand something. Aali shows Hoihi by following instructions the first time. Aali's a very helpful student to her peers and adults. Keep up the good work Aali! Dolphin of the quarter for Mrs. Bicoys class is Ava Kaulili.  Ava shows KLH daily by staying on task putting forth her best effort in all subjects and always being respectful and friendly to her classmates and peers.  Ava never shy's away from participating in group discussions and activities and is always willing to lend a hand when she sees that someone needs extra help. She's a great asset to our class and we are so proud of her for rocking second grade thus far.  Great job Ava!  Auramanihda Stampson is Kumu Busby's dolphin of the quarter. Aura exemplifies what it means to live by the values of kuleana laulima and hoihi.  She is compassionate diligent and self-disciplined. One thing that really stands out about Aura is her ability encourage and motivate her peers in a constructive way. Keep being just who you are Aura. The 2B crew is so proud of you!  Ms. Madani's class dolphin of the quarter is Miliani Candelario. Miliani's persistence to learn, willingness to share ideas and amazing cooperation when working with partners or groups has helped her grow in all areas. Her progress in such a short time is proof that hard work pays off. She is motivated and optimistic from the moment she walks into the classroom, helping us all move forward. Thank you Miliani and congratulations! Nice job! Mahealani Puhi is a role model student at KES. She demonstrates KLH in the classroom and around campus. Mahea comes to school prepared and ready to learn. when working in collaborative groups Mahea works well with her partners by sharing her ideas, asking clarifying questions and participating in discussions. Mahea is kind and respectful to others and always willing to help. we're so happy Mahea is part of our classroom family. Congratulations, keep up the great work.  Mrs. Gonzalez dolphin of the quarter is Cinch Kamakana, Cinch shows KLH by completing all his class assignments and homework on time. He comes to school prepared and stays on task, participates in a classroom discussions and is respectful of his classmates and teachers.  Great job Cinch! Zhaymian Kalamau-Ranis shows KLH in the classroom and outside of the classroom. He is respectful to his peers and educators. Zhaymian gets along well with his classmates and has not problem assisting them when needed. He is an effective learner and always stays on task when completing assignments. Zhaymian loves learning new things and strives to excel to do his best. Kailee Tanabe goes above and beyond what is expected of her. she's always positive, follows KLH and consistently makes good choices. She perseveres and all of her school work and actively engages in complex thinking and problem-solving. she's helpful with her peers and will stop what she's doing to help them.  Keep up the great work Kylie!  Kaiolohia Puhi is the dolphin of the quarter from Mrs. Yuens 5th grade class. Kaiolohia consistently follows KLH.  She is determined to do her very best and goes over and beyond to make sure she understands what she is learning. Kaiolohia is self-driven and is willing to ask questions and offer her ideas during a class discussion. She has a positive attitude toward learning and is the team player. congratulations and two thumbs up.  Natalie Yuen shows up to school on time, ready to learn, every day. She is a complex thinker in class who asked probing questions and problem solves until she finds a solution. Natalie is active at school on the robotics team and enjoys soccer and hunting outside of school. One of Natalies most noteworthy qualities is how kind and patient she is to others. Keep being you Natalie! You are a bright shining star. Keliyah Thompson is a very good student and good person she's always willing to help others with their assignments figuring out things.  She is not afraid to ask questions and has great reasoning skills.  Keliyah has beautiful penmanship.  Excuse me!.  And her efforts  are so much appreciated because penmanship or cursive is tedious and difficult.  Keliyah pushes through and doesn't give up. Keliyah excels in all areas and always wants to do more. She is a good example of a dolphin of the quarter. Congratulations again to all of our dolphins of the quarter keep up the great work and lets sing the alma mater. (Singing KES alma mater)

Just one more reminder everyone recycling bins, please put your blue recycling bins out after FAMA.  thank you so much for joining us at FAMA Happy fall break and we'll see the students on Tuesday October 11th.
